SAD NEWS Wes Burns, an Ipswich star, lies on the ground in pain and is taken away on a stretcher during the match against Liverpool.

Burns went down 25 minutes into the match with what SunSport understands is a knee injury, as medical staff rushed on to give him treatment.

 

Following five minutes of treatment he was replaced by Ben Johnson.

 

Burns has made 18 Premier League appearances for Kieran McKenna’s side this term.

 

He joined Ipswich from Fleetwood in 2021 and has played a major role in their rise from League One to the Premier League.
