Which Ohio State recruits are poised to make their commitments next?

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State earned the commitment of three-star 2026 offensive tackle Aaron Thomas on Wednesday night, as the Buckeyes’ front five continued to surge under new line coach Tyler Bowen.

The defensive line, though, comes into focus over the next few days. In what figures to be a massive few days for Ohio State on the recruiting trail, the defensive line is set to play a major part in the success — or failure — of that group.

Here’s a list of players set to commit as the month comes to a close: June 26: TE Mack Sutter : DE Jackson Ford: DL Damari Simeon  WR Jerquaden Guilford : DL Cameron Brickle LB Xavier Griffin : DL PJ Dean (TBD) Ohio State is not likely to land Sutter or Griffin, but every other player is certainly interesting. The Buckeyes are the presumed favorites for Guilford, which is notable considering the team already has four receivers in the 2026 class. In adding Guilford, it would be Brian Hartline’s largest class ever at receiver. Then there’s Ford, Simeon, Brickle and Dean set to commit over a four-day span. The Buckeyes have just one defensive lineman committed in the class as it stands (four-star Khary Wilder) and certainly would love to add some talent to that position in the class. With more potentially on the way, defensive line coach Larry Johnson can have his 2026 unit turn around in a hurry.
